Crescent Electric Supply Appoints Dennis DeSousa as Senior Vice President

EAST DUBUQUE, IL, June 8, 2011 — Crescent Electric Supply Company has announced the appointment of Jerry R. Whitaker to its Board of Directors. An electrical industry veteran, Whitaker most recently served as President, Electrical Sector — Americas at Eaton Corporation, a diversified power management company and a global technology leader in electrical, hydraulic, aerospace and truck and automotive components, systems and services.

As President, Electrical Sector — Americas, Whitaker oversaw the P&L, manufacturing, operations, sales, marketing, technology and product development for four operational groups comprised of twelve divisions, 17,900 associates and $3.8B in revenue. His group successfully integrated eight substantial acquisitions in the past five years.

Jerry resides in Pittsburgh, PA and currently serves on the boards of the Carnegie Science Center, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, Pittsburgh Middle East Institute and the Corporate Circles Board of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
