This product is part of the XUM range, an offer of miniature photoelectric sensors. This reference correspond to a thru-beam pair of sensors (transmitter/receiver) with adjustable sensitivity, Light ON/Dark ON (NC/NO) function and a PNP solid-state digital output. Each sensor features a 2 metre long PVC cable (3 wires). They are photoelectric cells with a rated supply voltage of 12V to 24VDC and protection against reverse polarity. These miniature and robust sensors allow quick installation in compact spaces of even harsh industrial applications. It provides nominal sensing distance of 24m and maximum sensing distance of 30m. Each sensor of this pair is an IP65 and IP67 rated product, operating in an ambiant air temperature from -30C to +55C (-22F to +131F). They are suitable for harsh industrial environments. These photocells feature a compact and robust housing. The casing is made of plastic (PBT) and the lens is made of PMMA. Their dimensions are 10.8mm (width) x 19.5mm (depth) x 31.5mm (height). The pair weighs 0.096kg. This pair of transmitter and receiver is ideal for material handling, packaging, labelling and assembly industries. The transmitter and the receiver are certified by CE, cULus and UKCA. Dedicated diaphragms, fixing brackets and cabling accessories can be purchased separately. 2 potentiometers help to configure the sensing distance and the output functions. The XUM range is for non-contact sensing up to 30metres of objects of any shape and any type.
